A special time together for worship and encouragement from Israel Wayne.

Meeke explores the best way to grow Christian children who are able to resist the strong pull of the culture. Learn a new term: Culture-proof. Learn how to do it and what results you should expect. The loss of generations of Christian kids should be enough to force the question, "How do we help them resist?"

Many of us started this homeschooling journey thinking this was going to be "fun." You envisioned yourself teaching your children and smiling through each day. Then something happened: You stopped smiling. There’s a reason for that and some things you can do to bring back those smiles, not only for yourself but for your children, as well. During our family night time together we’re going to talk about the smile stealers and smile makers in your homeschooling world... and get everyone smiling again. Because you have a lot to smile about!!!

Like you, when we began our homeschooling journey we asked ourselves, “Will we be able to teach them all they need to know for success?” There were so many options and subjects to teach them. They were loaned to us to us knowing almost NOTHING and we were expected to fill up their noggins and prepare them for adulthood. Little did we know then that homeschooling turned out to be not only what we taught them…but what THEY taught US. Never would we have believed how God would use homeschooling to teach us what he needed us to know as parents, homeschoolers, and as His children. So join me for an intimate time of sharing and laughing at the lessons my children taught me. My hope is that you’ll start to view your homeschool day less as a time to teach and muscle through... but as a gift.

We're all set. We've got the curriculum, the co-op, and the extra-curricular activities. The days shape up nicely, when they do shape up nicely... but what about Christ? Have we neglected the primary reason for homeschooling? In this presentation, Meeke and Wil encourage parents to check the heartbeat of their homeschool. The end of homeschooling isn't homeschooling or even education!

How does theology impact your homeschool? In more ways than you think! In this session look at how our theology (our view of God, salvation, and Christian identity) consciously and unconsciously impacts how we educate our children and how to make sure the things we believe about God align with His Word.

Many well-intentioned parents make harmful mistakes as they relate to their children. These mistakes often contribute to bitterness in relationships and in their children. Over time, they can result in children rejecting their parents, their faith and their values. Learn to avoid these pitfalls.

From rolling eyes to slamming doors, sometimes a kid's attitude is simply frustrating! If you're at your wits' end or just looking for practical ways to get to the HEART of the matter, this session is for you. As Proverbs 4 says, your attitude determines your life's path.

God designed men to be servant-hearted leaders and lay their life down for their families. Married for 40 years and father to four homeschooled sons, Steve shares with men what he has learned from God's word and his own family experiences over the years

As a parent, you are uniquely qualified to be the primary educator of your children. You have more assets than you realize. Listen and be encouraged by a veteran homeschooling father of four sons.

Do you ever wonder about the type of world your kids will inherit? What about their contemporaries? Do you want to understand the children your kids will study with and work alongside in the future? Meeke explores the big-picture questions of who exactly has the next generation and how they are shaping that generation right now. Christian parents don't need to be alarmed; we just need to be equipped

Do you feel confident to break down Bible passages on your own - without a bible study guide? For most of church history Christians have learned faith from the Bible itself. In this session you'll learn practical tools for studying a passage, drawing out the author's meaning, and applying it to life! You'll be able to study scripture with confidence and teach your kids to do the same.

Today, many of us have an intuitive sense that major changes are coming, that soon our world may be very different in ways not necessarily convenient or comfortable. But at the same time, we must wake up each day and live as though things will continue on pretty much as they are. Resolving this cognitive dissonance requires that we carefully contemplate our circumstances because we truly are in a cultural war, fighting the "non-gospel" of aesthetic and moral relativism on three fronts - personal, familial, and social. What should our priorities be, and how can we prepare our children to be "culture warriors?"

Designed for moms of kids 1-8, this session teaches you how to integrate Scripture and theology into your parenting from the youngest ages. You'll learn how our theology of sin, holiness, love and grace directly impacts our parenting and how to teach Scriptural truths without becoming legalistic or overbearing. It's possible to LOVE the little years while disciplining effectively!

Most Christian parents want to teach their children theology and Bible doctrine, but aren't sure how to go about it. Learn the difference between primary and secondary doctrines and how to help your children protect themselves against cults and false religions that would seek to woo them away from true Christian faith.

At some time in our future, is it imaginable that freedom of speech and freedom of religion could be suppressed where we live? History would indicate so. How do we prepare ourselves and our families for such a contingency? What curriculum might best prepare us for persecution, even martyrdom? How do we cultivate necessary virtues without sparking burdensome fears? This may not be a pleasant subject to contemplate, but perhaps it will be an important one.

Is Education a neutral subject? Does God have a preference for how He wants children to be educated? What does the Bible teach about schooling? Is there one correct path for education? Are public schools a viable option for Christians? Why do you homeschool? When your children are grown, what will define success for you? What is the difference between a Biblical view of education, and the way most Christian parents (even homeschoolers) educate their children? These questions and more will be discussed in this engaging presentation.

Homeschooling homes are havens for teaching much more than just academia. Christian homes need to actively teach children for faith, integrity and faithfulness, sorely missing aspects in modern culture. Seeking to address the tension many families have in the day to day homeschooling, come find a new perspective to view academics as a facilitator, a supporting role to the greater mission of raising our children for Christ. Come explore why the home is truly the best place for children to flourish and for families to pass on the faith.

This session will explore how our learning styles impact how we engage with Scripture and how changing the methods we use can help our kids learn about God in a more sustainable and impactful way.

For over ten years now, Todd has been reminding moms and dads of the truth behind homeschooling. He tell them it's about relationships and letting their children be what God has created them to be, and on and on and on.. Moms often come up and say, " I believe everything you say..but how do I do that? How do I homeschool in light of all these truths?" Well, Madam Homeschooler, Todd is going to show you. Join him as we get down to the nuts and bolts of homeschooling in light of these truths. Buckle your seat-belts and hold onto your seats.

You are not alone. The Principles of Liberty still work when we work them. And YOU have a role to play in a proven plan for restoring freedom. Let’s be honest…America took a major turn towards government control of the people in the past couple of years. But precisely because of all the government overreach, we now have before us a once in a century opportunity to convert an entire generation into liberty lovers raising patriotic families. If you want to see a revival of freedom in America, then you do not want to miss this presentation by Rick Green as he lays out a path forward for restoring Biblical Values and Constitutional Principles in our communities.

Deborah will share how the Bible has made an impact on her homeschooling and how it can change yours. Do your children know the Biblical reasons they are homeschooling? Do they know why they don’t participate in things other kids participate in? Do they have the tools they need for life to battle sin, defeat the enemy, and answer their peers and culture? Find out the importance of the Bible in the homeschool. It’s as important as life and death! Deborah Wuehler is the Senior Editor of The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine whose goal is to glorify God and strengthen homeschoolers in their commitment to keep their children Home Where They Belong.

What is the true definition of socialization? Who should be socializing our children? Will your children be looked at as “different” or criticized for being unsocialized? We’ll answer these questions and reveal the negative socialization in the present education culture, as well as the points of positive socialization that homeschooling affords when you keep your children Home Where They Belong.

Most people think of schooling when they hear the word “education.” The two, however, are not intrinsically linked in any way. In this keynote learn why most people are schooled, but never truly educated, and how you can ensure your children get a great education, even without schooling.

In what way has God been unfair to you? What do you want that God has not already given you? At what point will you be totally satisfied with what you have in life? When will you realize that God is more than enough? At what point will you be able to “thank” God for what you have rather than “ask” God for what you want? What makes the creation model different and better than others? The answer lies in one’s worldview. Naturalism views the cosmos and all matter as all there ever was, is, and will be. Many people in the West think that Science is the only thing we can trust. Darwin was a major influence in this arena. Many in the East are more aligned with Transcendentalism – the physical world is a dream, an illusion, not real – and we can’t trust our senses. Postmodernism says that truth is relative and can’t be known. We’ll compare all four options to help you come to a reasonable conclusion of your own.

So here we are. Most of us would have chosen something different than what we’ve recently had to face. Who would have signed up for the last two years of crazy chaos? Let’s look at some similarly chaotic cultural moments in Scripture and see what we can learn from those who have gone before.

Even though there is a specific curse placed on this creature, they still display amazing design, and some features will astound you! This is the first creature mentioned by name in the Bible, and its existence has profound implications!

It is important to remember why we are homeschooling so that when tough times come, our home school will not collapse.

Why do people reject the reliability of the Bible? It is not the common objections that people give. Rather it is because they “suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” (Romans 1:18) Christians should be able to answer those objections. Christians should also be able to recognize the seven habits that people develop in suppressing the truth which are listed in Romans 1:21-23. Come see these seven habits come to life through interviews with non-Christians on a college campus. Learn how you, too, can give a defense of your faith in gentleness and reverence. (I Peter 3:15)

Animals display incredible variety. This includes the amazing aspect of instinct, which each animal possesses uniquely. Some, however, go beyond this and enter the world of symbiosis, especially "mutualism" - when creatures need each other to survive! It is inconceivable to imagine that both instinct and symbiosis just randomly happened, unguided by a Designer! This session closes with a twist on what many people think is impossible with God's involvement with the issues found in Genesis 1-12.

In almost every ancient culture the names of the stars were recorded, yet the Bible says “God calls each star by name.” Do you suppose the names God calls them are the names that are preserved? When we closely examine them, it seems that they are. In asking the question of whether Israel had heard the message of Christ, it states in Romans “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Did they not hear? Of course they did: ‘Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world’” (Rom 10:17-18). I used to think it must have been the prophets that gave the “Word of Christ” to Israel until I realized that this was a quote from Psalm 19 declaring that the “words” and “voice” was from the heavens. See how each constellation gives a clear message of Christ as well as His return. This is NOT astrology, but simply Christ’s creation declaring His glory.

Many feel wickedness and cultural antagonism are closing in upon them from every side. Social media bans people and cultural pressure is applied to believers socially on an increasing basis. So many do not know what to do: how to exist, minister, and do what they feel God wants them to do in this degenerating environment. Fortunately, there are heroes who have gone before us who give us clues, encouragement, and inspiration for just such a time as we see unfolding before us. Be a part of this powerful workshop that will help you and your family begin to charge hard once again instead of walking on eggshells

Imagine what it will feel like, as you watch your son, even while they are young, be an example to those around him of what a true gentleman looks like, acts like and is. His focus is on others. He notices without effort when someone near him is in need, and then quickly acts. He guards his tongue knowing that his words have impact and his desire is to only have impact for good. He is kind to his family and understands that his example to his family is his duty as a son of God. He is a leader among his peers and although his standards are high, those in his presence do not feel judged by him, but accepted and valued. His goals are lofty, however he looks forward with anticipation to be a righteous husband and father one day. He is a true gentleman. Parents, this Master Class will help you understand how to create the example your son needs to become this gentleman. You don’t want to miss this. He needs you.

Our children live in the midst of a secular culture facing a host of issues and moral dilemmas that we never had to deal with at their age. Because many children are not prepared to counter this culture, startling percentages abandon their faith and beliefs as they move into adulthood. For this reason, a strong biblical worldview is one of the most important gifts we can give them. Teach them to think biblically, quipt them to become powerful thinkers, leaders, and communicators. Most importantly, give them staying power in their faith as they face opposition. Learn why biblical worldview is it crucial; how studying the life of Daniel change my teenager’s life; and why our goal as Christian homeschoolers must be bigger and broader than turning out kids with exceptional talent and high SAT scores. Through worldview training, we can better equip them to use their gifts to impact the world for Christ, help others by solving real problems, and bring glory to God in the process.

Evolution is a clear answer to why the moral fabric of our society is unraveling. See how evolution is the main cause of abortion, homosexuality, divorce and compromise among many churches. Logically, if evolution be true, Christ is not who He says He i

A cell phone commercial features an NBA point guard trying to play basketball blindfolded. Because he can’t see the goal, he’s never sure if he’s scoring. Too often, men take on the tasks of husband, father, shepherd, principal, coach, and disciplinarian without the vision necessary to define and accomplish the goal. Joe Tyler helps define the goal and shares how to discover the divinely appointed means of achieving it. Twenty-six hundred years ago, three teenagers stood in defiance to a powerful king. In our world of entertainment-minded youth, are we doing enough to prepare them for the possibility of challenging days ahead? Chuck encourages parents and teens to ‘Know What You Believe’, ‘Know What’s Coming’, and ‘Know What You Will Do’ so that if the day should come, we will stand and not bow

If we homeschool simply to achieve high academic marks, we are squandering the opportunity to influence our children for Christ. Character healthy leaders are those children who have learned to elevate virtues above feelings. If we spend our homeschooling hours simply on academics and activities, we may win the praise of man, but we risk losing the hearts of our children. In our few short years with our children, we must focus on the first things first, and character is always the first thing! In this session, Megan will challenge you to use every opportunity to teach your children to serve God by loving others and to love others by faithfully serving God.

"Whatever is the meaning of life?" "Whatever happens when one dies?" "Whatever is your highest value?"—questions that demand more than a "Whatever!" answer. The "Whatever!" answer of Secular thinking dampens and even squelches serious thought and attempts at engaged conversation in our culture. The "Whatever!" of Secularism even invades the church. Rather than be discouraged, take heart in God's command in Deuteronomy 12:32.

The Nazis used language to redefine Jews out of the human race. Once that was accomplished, atrocities and death camps followed. Language is important because it lays the tracks that are the ideas that carry the consequences—boxcars filled with people's lives. Christians are on a search and destroy mission; we are destroying ideas but not people. Learn 4 Killer Questions that will empower you to derail faulty thinking and challenge others to think God's thoughts after Him

If the children are the glue holding your marriage together, you are on the path to divorce. A healthy marriage has characteristics that lead to a thriving home. Bringing 40 years of experience in marriage to bear on the subject, the Smiths recognize that some stages are harder than others, while it is never too late to improve the health of the relationship. The Smiths will share several tools that can help to restore or invigorate a marriage in a busy home where no one seems to have any extra time. Leave this session with ideas to make an immediate difference.

I don’t know why what you expect is typically what you get, I just know that it’s true. Since that’s the case it makes sense to understand this powerful reality at work in our world. Understanding the power of expectations changes your relationships, your parenting, your professional life, and ultimately the course of your life. This session will talk about God’s expectations, what that means for you, and how your expectations will change you and those around you.

It has only been in recent decades--with the development of technology capable of scanning the human brain--that neurologists have been enlightened as to how learning occurs and how we can optimize new knowledge. This session will address some of the amazing intricacies of the brain, the principles of brain-based learning, how boys and girls learn differently, and how God’s Word teaches us to think for learning retention.

The world, the flesh, and the devil are vying for the minds of our kids, often in such subtle ways that it goes unnoticed until they are in crisis. This session will delve into multiple venues in which our thoughts, our time, and our choices are influenced by our worldview. We will put many of these examples to the test of a biblical worldview with the goal of heightening awareness of where “little foxes” creep in and seek to spoil (Song of Solomon 2:15).

If you have more than one child, you know first-hand that they come to us uniquely “crafted” by our Heavenly Father--no two are alike! This fact is especially challenging when homeschooling and trying to plan what to teach. This session will: • Address the imperative given to us in Proverbs 22:6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent]” (Amplified Bible), • Include several “personality” test options to help you understand your children and how they learn best, and • Provide teaching/learning strategies to help you utilize this information to inform your homeschooling efforts.
