In this seminar, we will tackle these subjects and the fascinating world of volcanic rocks. I have samples to look at and will set off a fun volcanic eruption using some special chemicals!

This workshop provides a fascinating look at how human nature has driven the search for and discovery of dinosaur fossils. We will look at some of the intriguing people who have been driven to find these creatures, and the strange directions they took because of their worldviews.

Jimmy’s 15th birthday goes from joy to disaster after his father passes down a watch and a journal containing information that two men are sent to silence. What is the evidence for a global Flood? How did the waters recede? How did life restart when the Flood was over? This is the story of Noah and the science behind the Flood. This is a Parent/Child session.

Ancient man multiplied and spread out across the earth after the Flood. Their technology and genius shows they did not evolve (nor was there assistance from aliens).

The layers at the Grand Canyon show rapid formation during the global Flood and reveal that it was eroded catastrophically. Many similar formations around the world were also created during the Flood.

Dinosaurs were made on day six, went on the ark, and lived for a while after the Flood. Surviving soft dinosaur tissue gives us some clues and there’s evidence of dinosaurs and man living together in ancient cultures.

The catastrophic events at Mount St. Helens gives us clues about how the global Flood impacted the earth.

The Flood produced the right conditions for only one Ice Age, which grew and melted in a matter of a few hundred years. A single Ice Age explains extinctions of mammals like the Woolly Mammoth and saber tooth tiger.

This session gives evidence for the existence of God. We see design in nature, and design points to an intelligent designer, not random chance and accident. Subjects include bombardier beetles, woodpeckers, sea anemones, sea slugs, and Mallee fowl.

This session focuses on what we can actually know from studying dinosaur fossils, in contrast to what we can only infer. With an emphasis on distinguishing between imagination and observational science, this session explores fossils and what can they tell us, art work versus fact, dinosaurs and current stories about them, and what sharp claws and teeth really mean.

This session challenges the evolutionary idea that man and dinosaurs never lived together with descriptions of dinosaurs in the Bible and other evidences of man and dinosaurs living at the same time. Also discussed is what happened to dinosaurs. A real favorite with all ages.

This workshop is for those of you who are working to juggle homeschooling life with toddler life. We will look at the importance of prioritizing, planning our work and working our plan to ensure balance between working with our older children and meeting the needs of even the littlest. Table Talk discussions will center around creative ways to engage our little ones in the power of play while still being accessible to the rest of our children. You will leave with a list of resources and recipes, but more than that, my prayer is that you leave feeling encouraged, knowing that you can do this and you are not alone.

In 1924 a memorial statue of a man on a horse with Bible in hand was placed in Salem, on the Capitol grounds. It is called “The Circuit Rider”. Come hear stories about the Pioneer Preachers, or “Circuit Riders” that this statue commemorates.
