This workshop offers practical resources, lists of materials, and curricula in order to help equip you as you work with a struggling learner in your home school. Multi-sensory teaching methods, direct instruction, and modeled teaching, as well as ideas for designing a unique home instruction program tailored to your child’s specific challenges. (Strategies helpful to teaching reading are presented in this session.)

Learn the difference between a heart-based approach to child training and simple behavior modification. Although commonly practiced, behavior modification has significant weaknesses. A heart-based approach reaches children in ways that address their tendencies, motivations, and patterns in life. It’s so much more powerful and the practical tools shared in this session will give you great insight into the makeup of a child and how kids change. Five points will be shared to help the parent develop a heart-based strategy for any child.

A powerful and attention-grabbing presentation on the vital importance of the Bible’s history in Genesis: how it is foundational to the Gospel and relevant to our world and society. The authority of the Bible is paramount. Items of scientific evidence are woven into the presentation in a way that is easily understood by the layperson, as is the Gospel message. Christians are motivated to become armed and equipped to be able to ‘give an answer’ and to be vastly more effective at personal evangelism. In addition, their own personal faith is strengthened. Our seminar gives relevant information about why and how to protect children on the internet, on smart devices, and technology in general. Understanding what parents need to protect their children from is the first step. The tools provided offer parents practical methods with tested and useful products.
