When stressed, can you prayerfully await God's direction and timing? We live amidst a culture opposed to God's word. It's easy to succumb to fear: "What if I miss something?" "I know I should do this... but WHAT IF I ruin my child?" "How can I raise all my children?" "What will my parents say?" Moms grapple with these and other fear-based questions, especially when taking a stand for how we raise our children. God says that as we trust in Him, HE directs our path. He gives strength to the weary, wisdom to those who ask, joy when stressed, and peace when fearful. Esther faced the seemingly impossible. What might have happened to the Hebrew nation without Esther? Jerusalem might never have been rebuilt. There might have been a different story for future ages. This Jewish girl unknowingly played her part in paving the way for the coming Savior. As Esther has a part to play, so you have an important role in shaping the hearts and minds of future generations. Come, be encouraged as Heidi relates what is most important during child-rearing years – following the Lord wherever He leads – and modeling that faith for your children. Where God guides, He provides. Peace in times of fear.

Does your child struggle to write, to form letters, or to compose a clear paragraph or an essay? Learn about causes of writing problems, handwriting tips, and accommodations for problems with handwriting, memory, organization, spelling and vocabulary. Kathy Kuhl homeschooled her dysgraphic son (who loves to write), taught composition and English in schools and co-ops, and has written three books.
It’s quiet, but deadly. It can poison a whole family when no one even knows it’s there. It dampens affection, kills communication, and leaves hearts wounded and hurting. It is the number one reason why marriages break up and why parents lose the hearts of their children. The Bible describes it as a “root” that springs up and defiles many. In this talk, Rick Boyer explains how the poison of bitterness damages relationships and how the grace of God can put them back together again. Peace and love in your home are not just a dream.
