PA-2026 Rejoice in Hope

Presented by: Christian Homeschool Association of Pennsylvania

Ever read the Pennsylvania homeschool law and wonder what it meant? Has a friend explained it to you and it doesn't make sense? This talk will explain in detail those two little paragraphs that describe exactly what it is that supervisors are responsible for in their children's education. We'll also briefly cover paperwork and other requirements of the law. Have your mind put at ease with a fuller understanding of what it is the law is – and isn't – saying.

Confidently navigate PA homeschool law! Learn your responsibilities as a parent, what your district can and can’t require, and the purpose of evaluations. Discover what to include in your portfolio, how to find a qualified evaluator, and easy year-round strategies to stay prepared. Walk away with practical tips and resources to make evaluation time simple and stress-free.

With increasing pressure on homeschool freedoms nationwide, it is more important than ever for homeschool families to understand and participate in the civic process. This workshop encourages parents to see civic involvement, especially voter education and Get Out the Vote efforts, as a practical and meaningful way to fulfill required civics education at both the elementary and secondary levels. Families will learn how real-world participation can teach students responsibility, citizenship, and the value of protecting the freedoms that make homeschooling possible.
