In this session become educated about public education. We will cover a brief history of the origins of the public school system and the rise of homeschooling in the US. Unsure of what to do as a homeschool husband and dad? In this session we will also discuss how to support your wife and kids as the head of a homeschooling family.

With increasing pressure on homeschool freedoms nationwide, it is more important than ever for homeschool families to understand and participate in the civic process. This workshop encourages parents to see civic involvement, especially voter education and Get Out the Vote efforts, as a practical and meaningful way to fulfill required civics education at both the elementary and secondary levels. Families will learn how real-world participation can teach students responsibility, citizenship, and the value of protecting the freedoms that make homeschooling possible.

Scripturally grounded truth that accurately recorded HIStory directs mankind to theological truth. The primary biblical text for this will be Joshua 4:1-7. We will look at the Founders' understanding of the interplay between the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. United States history, including debates at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and the subsequent state ratifying conventions will feature prominently in this presentation.
