Matthew Johnson is a homeschool graduate who began helping with Child Evangelism Fellowship® while in the 6th grade. His first introduction to a Good News Club® was as a club member in the 3rd grade. Family taught the GNC™ he attended at a local church, and he began learning ways to share the gospel. He soon began helping with GNC at a nearby public school, leading children in games and songs. He also received more advanced training with Christian Youth in Action® between 12 and 19 years old. He continues to be active in local summer missions through 5-Day Club®. Matthew attended Children's Ministries Institute® and became a trainer for Christian Youth In Action® and Good News Clubs. He currently volunteers as a teacher with CEF® in his spare time. Matthew desires to inspire families to get their children involved in local ministries and missions just like he was.
