Could you use some encouragement and strategies to help reignite your student’s love of learning? If so, this session is for you! There are many factors that impact a child’s motivation level—stress, executive function, nutritional needs, media usage, and more. With a little bit of theory and a whole lot of practical application, Cheri Kay equips parents with the tools they need to tap into their child’s God-given gift of curiosity.

Do you hate to wear a certain type of clothing? Does the sound of a person chewing really bother you? Do you tap your leg or repeatedly fidget during the day? These are all “sensory quirks”. When these quirks impact your or your child’s participation in what they need and want to do, we need to address it. This course will discuss the 8 sensory systems, and ways to help our children organize information from them all.

In the past twenty years, we’ve seen a lot of changes in the homeschool community. There is much more pressure being put on homeschoolers to excel academically. We’ve gone from a few brave moms who, without access to mainstream “curriculum”, managed to give their children an excellent education—but we’ve forgotten what made it excellent. It was excellent because these moms had a vision for homeschooling—they weren’t trying to re-create school at home. They were simply being obedient to the One who had called them to be different. They knew that if He had called them, He would equip them. And they were right. If you’re struggling to find joy in your calling as a homeschooling parent, if you’re looking for more LIFE in your homeschool, this is one keynote you won’t want to miss. join Heidi as she talks about her journey away from curriculum-driven, workbook based homeschooling and into delight-directed learning. Researchers now confirm what the greatest minds in education have advocated for centuries: raising self-sufficient, self-motivated, eager learners depends on specific actions and attitudes from parents and educators. Unfortunately, most of what we naturally tend to do results in the exact opposite—overwhelmed, unmotivated, anxious, unhappy learners. There is a very good and logical reason our parental efforts go unrewarded. In this talk, Jeannie shares modern research along with both Biblical and ancient wisdom to equip you with the mindset, tools, and faith needed to help your children develop self-motivation and a drive to pursue their education and God-given purpose with passion.

To embrace the best approaches for a truly superior education, we must first deprogram ourselves from the beliefs about education that we have long accepted as truth, along with the models that claim to be the standard by which education should be measured. Our society has been immersed in a system designed not to educate minds but to produce obedient, unquestioning, uncurious, and unoriginal workers. In this highly acclaimed talk, Jeannie explores the research and impact of this educational model, which not only stifles a child’s natural self-motivation and creativity but also suppresses divine curiosity, transforming an innate love for learning into mere drudgery. Discover how to choose methods and practices that genuinely educate the whole child—spirit, soul, and body—nurturing a lifelong passion for knowledge and growth.

Forensic science has captivated the attention of our culture, but have you ever considered that this science is historical in nature and subject to the scientist’s bias? Are you curious how forensic science should be viewed through the lens of the Bible? Did you know that humans, primates, and marsupials share fingerprint patterns, but their distinct structural differences refute evolutionary ideas? This presentation will provide an in-depth look into forensic science and how God’s fingerprint designs support the truth of the biblical creation described in Genesis.

The progressive movement believes that all children should be trained in their value system. This is why there are multiple assaults on parental rights in education, medicine, religious upbringing, and more. The homeschooling movement has long been a flashpoint for parental rights clashes—and the groundwork is being laid for an increased assault on our rights and freedoms. We are not the only targets, but we will be the most effective force in fighting for the rights of all parents.

Society is becoming increasingly secularized, and Christians are being pressured to bow the knee to the modern woke agenda. The church is supposed to challenge the culture with the truth of God’s Word and the gospel but many times the opposite is happening and the culture instead invades the church. We can combat this invasion, but we must argue or reason with people starting with God’s Word. We must not give up our firm foundation!

Young adults today are struggling. It's not exactly a revelatory statement–one only needs to glance at the closest high school or university to see it clearly. A hopeless and profound lack of direction is a hallmark of our culture, and these problems are so pervasive that even young adults fortunate enough to come from solid, Christian homes still deal with shades of these issues. What are we to tell them? In this session, Trent offers a practical perspective on hope, and how it inspires the kind of resilient lifestyle that allows today’s young adults to face failure undefeated.

If homeschooling up till now feels more like drudgery than delight, or if the thought of homeschooling makes your knees shake and your palms sweat, this is the workshop for you! Perhaps you've been hearing from "experts" that view homeschooling as just another form of education, like any other. Public schools think that way, but homeschooling is nothing like the school system. It's just the opposite. Learning at home is an adventure, a journey, a new lifestyle. Join veteran homeschool mom of seven (including one homeschool graduate!) Heidi St.John as she talks about the three things you've got to know as a new homeschooler that will set you on a track for success and enjoyment with your children. Because, although you're nervous now, it'll all be okay. Homeschooling is worth it. So sit back, relax. You'll soon discover that homeschooling is a journey like no other. Take it in stride that you will bumble and stumble, stick your foot in it, take wrong turns, backtrack, start again, and again . . . . and your child will be just fine. Come and bring a friend for a dose of information and encouragement. You can do it!

Have you ever wondered why your child lost so much ground over the summer? Or why their frustration in a certain subject just keeps snowballing? Neuroscience is exploding as a field right now and we know more about the brain and how we learn and retain new information than ever before. The brain is an amazing part of God’s design and the latest research can help us work with that design instead of against it. In this session, Kathryn summarizes the research she found most helpful as a homeschool mom and offers practical tips on how to apply it to your homeschool day.

We live in a society that is very confused about their identity. They think that an individual can define and determine everything about themselves including their gender. What does the Bible say about sex and gender? Are they separate? Are there only two? What about people who have gender/sex abnormalities? Is there any biological or genetic basis for transgender or homosexuality? Let’s take a look at what God’s Word says and see how science confirms and supports the truths of God’s Word. God created us as His image bearers and as our Creator He is not confused about who He made us!

Many experts, theorists, and scientists claim that science contradicts the Bible and is therefore fallible, inaccurate, and cannot be trusted. But what we find in the truth of God’s word is that an all-knowing God established laws of nature that govern the study of scientific principles. The word science means knowledge. God is knowledge (Psalm 139), and He created our understanding of knowledge about Him and his creation (Genesis 1:26-27). Based on this understanding, it is clear that science cannot exist without the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2:6). Through the lens of the Bible, this presentation will examine the origins of science (knowledge), explain the difference between historical and observational science, and show examples of how science confirms the Bible.

Hear from the whole Spooner family as they share what the teen years look like from the perspective of Dad, Mom, and the teenagers themselves. What do our teens need from us, and how can we raise them in the way they should go so when they are old, they will not depart from it? How do we combat depression? How do we establish identity? Whether you have a teen or are worried about what is yet to come, this session is for the whole family! It will end with some family ministry time—families praying over families and teens praying over teens. Walk away equipped.
