Orphans. Impurity. Poverty. There are so many needs in our world and so many people who need Jesus. Becoming a beautiful and godly woman is more than being a pure and pampered princess. Romans 10:15 says, “How beautiful are the feet of them who bring the gospel of peace…” No matter where you live, or where you’re called to go, you can DARE to care, DARE to cry, and DARE to make a difference for God. As Amy Carmichael prayed, “Give me the love that leads the way, the passion that burns like fire.”

In a culture that is opposed to the principles of God's word, it's easy to succumb to fear: "I know I'm supposed to home school... but WHAT IF I ruin my child?” "What will my own parents say?" "What about socialization?" Homeschool moms grapple with these and many other fear-based questions, especially during the first years of homeschooling. Esther faced what seemed like an impossible circumstance, too. And just as Esther has a part to play, so you have an important role in shaping the hearts and minds of a future generation. What is most important during the homeschool years is following the Lord wherever He leads - and modeling that faith. Because where God guides - He also provides.

Look behind the scenes to learn what prepared, inspired, and motivated the great minds of Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Einstein, Edison, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and more. They all had something in common—something available to all—something that drives initiative, ignites motivation, revives the imagination, and inspires excellence.

As parents we try to figure out the "right" way to raise our children. Is there a "right" way? After raising four adult children and being grandmother of 5, plus running a performing arts school with over 22,000 students nationwide, I've discovered some common threads of raising healthy, contributing and well-adjusted children.

Who cares what Jesus would drive? Christian environmentalists are asking the question in order to "drive" the church to proclaim a greener Gospel, claiming the Church needs to be more concerned about climate change, overpopulation, melting polar caps and animal rights. Christian environmentalists want churches to instruct believers to become activists on these vital issues facing the planet. Have Christians missed the importance of caring for the earth? In this timely evaluation, Bill Jack examines what the biblical response should be to an issue that is dictating government policy, changing the economy and shifting Western culture.

Christian young people are leaving the faith in droves and, homeschoolers are not completely exempt from this tragedy. Even though we have received so many blessings and advantages through the sacrifices of our parents, the fight continues, and we will lose if we let down our guard. This session, addressed primarily to the next generation of homeschoolers, will clarify what is at stake in this new era, and inspire young people with the courage necessary to be faithful to, and build upon their godly heritage.
