Home Educators are blessed with opportunities to build strong connections with our children. Use everyday moments to point the way to Christ, but remember, connection isn't built through perfection, but rather intentionality that points to Christ.

Disciple means to “teach or train.” But when your child behaves the opposite of what you want or expect, your first thought is often to get that action or activity stopped as quickly as possible. It’s easy to fall into the trap of simply stopping unwanted actions and moving to whatever activity needs to be tackled next. You must be intentional to look behind the behavior for the reason your child is acting a particular way.
