Carol began writing children’s nonfiction for a respected educational publisher and for national magazines. Over the years, thousands of children have participated in events and activities based on her activities and readers theater. She has also given workshops for the American Association of School Librarians and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators as well as local groups, including Idaho Creative Author’s Network (ICAN). As a director of ICAN her desire is to encourage new writers—no matter their age.
