Jason Colwell is a homeschool graduate, homeschool dad, and mathematics professor. His love for math was ignited as a child in a math club run by a local professor. After graduating highschool he decide to pursue mathematics further and attended the University of Alberta for both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees. At age 26, he received his Ph.D in Mathematics from Caltech, and has been teaching math to (mostly) eager students ever since. At present, he teaches here in Idaho at Northwest Nazarene University. He is active on his church worship team, and enjoys writing and performing music in his spare time. Together he and his wife homeschool their two children.
