Jim Upgren

Jim Upgren has served as the Assistant Director in the Office of School Approval and Opportunity with the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) since 2017. Prior to working for NDDPI, he served as a high school principal for seven years and a classroom teacher for ten years. Jim's wife Jennifer is a teacher at Bismarck High School and they have two sons, Rishton (4) and Odin (2).
