Sara Rask comes to us with a foreign language background. She taught high school French in Peoria and Decatur, Illinois, including the International Baccalaureate and AP programs. Sara has a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in French and Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree from St. Xavier University of Chicago in Curriculum. She is quite interested in helping homeschoolers incorporate foreign language at all age levels. Sara is very creative in general and has a knack for coming up with creative teaching options for parents. Working at Rainbow Resource has been a blessing for Sara. She gets to continue “teaching”, free from the constraints of the classroom setting. Everyday she learns more about the products at Rainbow and how to best help our homeschooling customers and parents wanting to help their children learn beyond their classrooms. As mother of two teenage sons, Nick and Adam, she has experiences with two very different learning styles at home.
