Jennifer Mietz
Jennifer Mietz has a Master’s degree in Science Education from Western Michigan University. She worked as a middle school math, science, and STEM teacher for twelve years. When she started homeschooling her son, she researched many curriculums before giving RightStart a try, although it was quite different than how she was taught to teach math. It has been incredible to see the number sense and critical thinking skills her son has developed as he progresses through the curriculum. She spends her time teaching at a nature center and running a homeschool group. She also loves to travel, hike, play strategy board games, chase the Auroras, and dance.
