Dr. Dave Swanson and his wife, Monica, live on the North Shore of Oahu. Dave is a hospital physician at Pali Momi, and Monica is a parenting author, podcaster, and homeschool mom (and regular golf caddy) to their youngest son, Levi (15). Dave and Monica have three grown sons they homeschooled through high school. Two have graduated from college and now live and work in the Santa Barbara, California area. Their third son, Luke, is a professional surfer completing his college studies online. When he’s not at the hospital, Dave enjoys hobby farming, while Monica explores new ways to bake with bananas. They enjoy running island trails together, where many of their best ideas are born. The Swanson family is committed to studying God’s Word and discipling others, both within their home and beyond. When everyone is together, you’ll likely find them gathered around the dinner table, engaged in lively conversations that range from theology to sports.
