Rodney Wood

Dr. Wood has been involved in ministry for over forty years. Dr. Wood holds masters and doctoral degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary and also studied at The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (1984-85), which was then directed by Dr. John Stott. Having served in university ministry and in pastoral ministry, in 1993 Dr. Wood established The Mission Foundation and began his ministry at the Louisiana State Capitol to the members of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and other governmental leaders. In that same year, he began his work as director of The Gathering, a ministry to men in the marketplace of Baton Rouge. Dr. Wood is also a member of the international facilitators team for Langham Preaching (John Stott Ministries), having served in training programs for preachers in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, El Salvador, Croatia, and Albania. He also served as interim-pastor of International Evangelical Church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and was a guest minister for approximately one year at Christ Church Fulwood in Sheffield, England. He has taught at Ukraine Biblical Seminary, Kampala Evangelical School of Theology in Uganda, and Peru Mission Seminary. He has also preached and taught in other countries in Eastern and Western Europe and East Asia. Rodney and his wife Becky have 3 married adult sons, 10 grandchildren, and a daughter and granddaughter with the Lord.
